澜沧江—湄公河合作简称“澜湄合作”，是我国倡导的重要次区域合作机制，参与成员包括中国、柬埔寨、老挝、缅甸、泰国、越南六国。农业是澜湄合作五大优先领域（互联互通、产能、跨境经济、水资源、农业和减贫）之一，各国围绕种植、畜牧养殖、渔业、农产品加工等多个产业，实施了一百多个农业项目，有力提升了澜湄次区域农业产业发展竞争力。 本书是“澜沧江—湄公河农业合作发展报告”系列第2本，由中国农业农村部对外经济合作**编写。本书围绕玉米和木薯两个**产业，从种植生产、贸易水平、产业合作、技术交流等方面梳理总结，旨在了解澜湄**产业发展与合作现状，为进一步有效利用澜湄基金等资源，提升澜湄**农业产业化水平提供科学参考与依据，具有一定的出版价值和社会意义。
