本书是普通高等院校“十一五”规划教材,是在总结机械工程专业英语教学改革和教材建设成果的基础上编写的。本书的目的,是使读者掌握机械工程专业英语术语及用法,培养和提高读者阅读、翻译专业英语文献资料的能力。
本书力求突出以下四个特点:①内容全面、结构合理,不仅有机械设计、机械制造及机电一体化,还有汽车、企业管理、实用英语等内容。②突出**、强调难点,每篇课文后都有**和难点解释和翻译。③内容新、取材广,大多数资料取材于*新出版的原版教材。④注重实践、突出练习。本书配阅读材料和练习题供自学。
