《导游实用英语》主要以培养学生的英语听、说及翻译能力为**,从安排和接待客人、安排客人就餐和人住、帮助客人预订、景点介绍、设计行程安排、了解旅行中的休闲娱乐活动、带领客人购物、接受投诉和处理应急、机场送客、设计内蒙古精品旅游线路等几方面进行编写的;既注意培养学生运用旅游英语进行交际的综合能力,也注意培养学生较强的旅游接待能力,使他们具备必要的旅游专业知识。
《导游实用英语》在整体结构以及教学内容的安排上,不但包括了“吃、住、行、游、娱、购”等方面导游员的工作流程,而且结合内蒙古自治区旅游资源及具体情况,突出内蒙古自治区四条精品旅游线路,着重介绍了各个线路上的**景区。整个教材是以导游员接待不同散客和旅游团为主线,通过导游员陪同他们在各个旅游景区旅游展开的。
