**，更加注重职业场景下的英语语言应用能力培养。每单元的听说部分都增加了一个职业场景或生活场景下的语言应用活动，为学生进入社会和未来职业生涯发展打下基础。例如，**册Unit2中，在学习了一段介绍自己能力的对话后，学生将进行职场模拟招聘，用所学英语应聘。

第二，教学内容更加精炼，教学**更明确。每单元的活动总量减少，活动操作更加简便，对个别活动的顺序进行了调整，使活动安排更加符合学生的认知规律。例如，**册中，Listening and Speaking部分的A、B两个对话精简为一个对话，增加了语言训练环节的活动，更强调基础语言技能训练和语言应用能力培养。

第三，更新语言材料。第2版替换了部分略显陈旧的语言材料，如将有关北京奥运会的内容替换为在鸟巢举行的国际足联足球对抗赛，让学习内容更富有时代性。
