考研英语大纲,没有明确的语法具体要求,考研英语试题,也没有专门单独的语法试题,那考生还需要学习语法吗?

【考点点晴】 这个句子同时包含rather than否定结构、虚拟语气以及被动语态等语法现象。Senior suggests...,后跟省略引导词的宾语从句we need to...,从句用了虚拟语气形式。句首的rather than...结构作状语,其中包括that引导的宾语从句。冒号后的内容是对we need to redefine happiness的进一步说明,其主干是we should consider... as...; instead of... 结构作状语,其中又包含that引导的定语从句修饰something。

【考点点睛】 冒号后的内容是对冒号前句子中observations的解释。破折号之间whose引导的定语从句作插入语,对Oprah Winfrey进一步解释。
【佳句妙译】 研究者的论据来源于对社交影响的一项简单的观察:除少数像奥普拉温弗瑞(她的超凡形象主要是通过媒体作用而非人际关系影响)之类的名人外,就连那些在某些群体中*具影响力的人物,其交流的对象也不是那么多。
