《新核心大学英语 读写教程1》内容提要：
《普通高等教育“十二五”**规划教材·新核心大学英语系列：听说教程1》结合内容学习英语，以科学题材习得语言，全面提高科学素养。强调学术英语能力训练，培养听讲座、记笔记、查文献、作陈述和写摘要等能力。开展以主题为内容的任务和项目研究，培养学生自主学习能力。强调词汇量，在满足四、六级词汇学习基础上，新词汇累计达8000。注重语块学习，改革传统语言练习，采用词汇搭配、句型操练等形式。《新核心大学英语》系列教材分为三级，由《读写教程》、《泛读教程》、《听说教程》和《词汇手册》构成，四本书在同一主题下紧密联系。对于开始学习**册不适应其内容和难度的学生，我们组织编写了基础级，提供一个过渡和衔接。对开设四个学期大学英语的学校，我们编撰了选修课程教材供选用。课本、学习光盘、教学课件和网络教学平台四位一体。
